Willis Bond & Co has brought together teams that have worked successfully together on a number of leading New Zealand urban developments.

Willis Bond & Co is a property development and investment company specialising in the development of high-quality, large-scale, mixed-use real estate, with a particular emphasis on waterfront developments.

It has successfully completed the redevelopment of the Wellington icons: the Odlins Building (now the NZX Centre), the Free Ambulance Building, Mac’s Brewbar and, most recently, the John Chambers Building (now Xero House) on the Wellington waterfront.

It has also completed the award-winning $175million Chews Lane Precinct in the CBD, and the $180million Clyde Quay Wharf development on the site of the old Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Studio Pacific Architecture is an award-winning Wellington-based practice which is both national and international.  The company has worked on many of the projects that have shaped Wellington’s urban environment and its waterfront.

The team is completed by:

  • LT McGuinness, a third-generation family firm and one of the biggest building teams in Wellington.
  • Dunning Thornton Consultants, the engineering firm that has a reputation for innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality structural design.
  • Beca, one of the largest employee-owned engineering consultancies in Asia Pacific.
